A plug-in solar system is a solar module (or several modules) that feeds electricity directly into the socket. A solar module for the socket usually consists of the components solar module, inverter, cable for the socket connection and mounting material. In contrast to the photovoltaic system, the solar module can be set up for the socket by private individuals. Today the legal framework is in place and every citizen, regardless of whether they are a tenant, landlord or homeowner, can operate a solar module for the socket. Other names that are used synonymously for the solar module for the socket are guerrilla PV, balcony power plant, plug & play solar module, solar module for the mini PV.
